I’m about to dive into a work project that is going to be the death of me, in an attempt to make the week a little more bearable, but here were some high lights from our weekend in no date or particular order.
Friday, we played, and Walter built this tower on his own!
Tonight, we made “cow bones” or Calzones, and Walter really enjoyed it!
Yesterday we went to a party at Christians (so of my friend Dede) and Christian was surprised with the Tumble Bus. Walter was OK with it, quite scared at first but did have a little fun :) The cake cheered him up though!
As you can see, he wasn’t thrilled.
But he warmed up and played a bit.

As you can see Christian wasn’t all that thrilled either!
But the kids warmed up and had a good time, after while.
Walter loved Christians train table! We might be switching to the wooden railway from the Take Along Thomas: So many more track options. We actualy had to have a 45 minute dinner table conversation about the differences!! Sad, huh!![]()
This toy was so complicated to get open, Reggie had to use a power tool to get it open!
Tomorrow Evan and Walter are both getting hair cuts. We went to the pool today: He asked yesterday if he could go with Jakob and since it was the Super Bowl, it was hard to get others to come so he and I went and he did so great. By the end of the hour he was jumping in by himself and saying “mommy no catch me”, he wanted to pop up by himself! He blew bubbles, went under water by himself, kicked and was using the noodle with me not at all holding him or the noodle for 1 length of the baby pool! I think we are going to have to be making more Sunday afternoon trips to the pool!
Tonight he asked if he could go to the library so we may have to do that this week!
PS: There was meat in the calzones, and he ate at least half of a half and said MMMMMM yummy (while rubbing his tummy)!

Sounds like a great weekend. Were you with Walter on the bus? It is always so hard when little people are not happy. Seems like the bus might be better for kids a little older. Glad to hear calzones were a hit! Hope the haircuts were a success.
Have a great week.
